This has been an interesting month to say the least. My work schedule has been crazy. I have spent an incredible amount of time away from home. When you look at the14459 miles I’ve flown this month some may go. That’s a lot, I only fly one trip a year or less. Others go I do that in a week or less and others don’t know what to say besides shaking their heads and others are jealous.
For me this was an average month. When you fly 150-175k miles a year this fits smack dab into that amount. But for some reason this month seems different. Why. Well because I hit so many different cities this month and spent do many nights away and travelled on so many weekends.
Here’s how the month went down.
Jan 1-3 Chicago thank you deep dish Chicago pizza
Jan 6-10 Indianapolis and Portland which turned into a missed connection and overnight in Dallas and then Portland still
Jan 12-14 Bozeman Montana brr was that cold
Jan 17-20 Anaheim my wife ran her first 1/2 marathon (I still need to write about this). Good job wifey
Jan 21-24 Calgary eah
Jan 26-28 Viva Las Vegas, sorry no shows or gambling this time. Just a little tradeshow and convention.
That worked out to 15 nights away from home and 9 different hotels. Yes I like to hotel hop, it’s another sickness of mine. I traveled through 13 different airports including connection cities. I also flew a virtual mixed bag of airlines five to be exact. Whew what a month and what a way to start the out the new year.
In case you’re keeping score.
