We loved this little airport is was so cute. It reminded me of what HNL was like in the early 80’s. I remember when I was 8 getting off a Pan Am flight on the tarmac and begin greeted with a lei. Although no lei’s here we did come straight off/on the tarmac, and the airport was open and just super cute. Bangkok Air petty much rules the place, but Thai, Silk Air and a couple other airlines have flights here weekly.

This way to domestic gates

There really was plenty of sating in the open air gate for people to sit in plus free Wi-Fi. Yeah Haw.

Gate 1/2 lobby area

Really plenty of seating

Because we were in Business Class on Thai we got a lounge invite ot the Blue Ribbon Bangkok Air lounge. It was small but quaint and full of seating. They had free drinks and food and it had AC. I was happy to hang out here.

Blue Ribbon Lounge (Private lounge for Bangkok Air and for Thai premium guests)
Super cute little lounge, tons of seating and nice staff

My daughter would love this bear

Lots of food and coffee, plus hot food and cold beer

Noodles with duck.

Almost time to go

Overall not much to say, but if you have to hang out at an airport this would be high on my list. Sure  beats a day at San Jose or comparable small airports across the US.
